Lagos, Nigeria – The delay left many passengers visibly upset as they anxiously awaited updates on their travel, initially set to depart in the early hours.
Some passengers, including several en route to Benin, voiced that they had already been waiting since the previous day. One particularly distressed passenger, bound for Abuja, cited her urgent need to attend a crucial business meeting. "I have an important appointment waiting for me, and no one is giving us clear information on when we’ll be leaving,” she stated, clearly frustrated with the lack of communication.
Reports indicate that the on-ground Air Peace representative struggled to address passengers effectively and was reportedly unable to provide concrete details or reassurances. This lack of communication further fueled the agitation among the crowd.
Many passengers urged the airline to not only address the cause of the delay but also to ensure better communication with travelers moving forward. As of now, Air Peace has not released an official statement regarding the delay, leaving passengers still awaiting confirmation of their departure time.
